You are part of a generation that don't give a damn
But you knowledge and ideas that stop the scam
All you know is how to drink and smoke

Everyone is complaining about your style
Everyone wants to see you walk the mile
But you are from the green and not the blue
So you dust them off just like we ought to do

You are the native of the hills of green
With the swagger that these people never seen
You do not accept orders from anyone
For you rise above them all like the blazing sun

This is the first entry for the second semester.

We are already in the season of Advent.

We are getting ready for Jesus to arrive.

And for the kiddies, Santa Claus.

Santa, Santa, Santa. He is such a great figure when Christmas time comes. Sometimes I believe he is more recognized than Jesus at this special time of year. It may seem odd but it is actually true. Every Xmas time, we do not see Jesuses in toy stores, malls, streets and other public places to symbolize Christmas. Who we see is Santa Claus. He hands out gifts to kids and looks so lovable in his attire. He is the icon of Christmas. It seems to me that he is Mr. Christmas to the people especially the children, the reason for this occassion. He overshadows the real reason for Christmas, who is of course Jesus Christ, our Saviour. But unfortunately this is not the case for many. Santa Claus and Jesus were like rivals at Christmas and Jesus was on the losing end in terms of popularity.

And this dilemma sparked a very farflung question in my mind about Santa Claus. 'Is Santa Claus who he really is?'. A very stout and generous man. 'Or is he another being posed as Santa who is trying to take away the limelight from Jesus at Xmas'?

Santa Claus is Satan. It is hilarious but it is an idea. Haha.
If you rearrange the letters in 'Santa', the word 'satan' can be formed.
He is always dressed in red. Red is the color of evil.
He doesn't speak of Jesus.
He brainwashes people by creating the idea that he is the gift-giver. That he can give you any gift you want.
He is the subject of most of the popular Christmas songs.
This is just what Satan wants, to be talked and sang about by the world, to erase Christ from the people's minds, to dominate the world.
And he is doing it as Santa Claus.

It is sad to see that we sometimes forget about Jesus Christ in our everyday lives and even during Xmas.
I hope we put in our hearts and minds that this occassion is about our Lord and not about Santa Claus.
This Christmas, let us sing more 'hallelujahs' than 'ho ho hos!'.

There is nothing sure in this life.
We may never know what is in store for us in the next ten years or ten seconds.
The only thing we can be sure of is the unassurance of life.
And this goes with the fact that there is nothing perfect in man's world.
Its like:
Medicines, those can't fully heal.
Anti-bacterial soaps, they don't fully kill the germs.
Slimming pills, they don't really work.
The government, they don't really give a shit.
Even they give you a 99% guarantee that they will do their job, there is still 1% that is left to doubt everything.
We just have to live with that thought.
Because of that, there is an end to life.

My Biology class has enlightened me to animals,plants and our environment. I realized the importance of all the trees and plants around us. I can't believe that I have not noticed their great significance to our everday lives.

Nature is the best thing in this world because God made it. Everything else comes next. Whatever man creates, his creations and inventions cannot match the beauty and simplicity of God's wonders.
The sky, sea, mountains and valleys untouched by man's progress are the best places to be in. Better than any hotel in the world.

The sad thing about nature is that it is dying. The creation of God is being destroyed by His so called greatest creation, man. It is sad to note that people are not taking care of the world. And they do not notice that their ignorance to our environment will lead human kind's death in the future.

We are all interconnected in this world. All creations rely on each other. Animals need plants and vice-versa. And with that certain connection, we shouldn't forget to take care of that bond because that is what keeps life in this world alive.

So I urge everyone to protect our surroundings. Save on paper. Plant more trees. Save on energy. Walk.

The souls of the departed may be lucky since they left the world. They can tell heaven from hell, blue skies from grey, such a thing as cold summer rain. Think about it. Maybe now they know all the answers to all the questions they couldn't answer when they were still alive. Maybe the good and pure souls have seen Jesus and all the saints like St. Peter, St. Ignatius, John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix and everyone else. Or with Buddha, Mohammed, Vishnu, Krishna in their own heavens or nirvanas. And the evil ones have already encountered the one and only Beelzebub or Lucifer or whoever runs hell accompanied by Hitler, Napoleon, inventor of guns, Einstein and all other geniuses who have just contributed to the death of the world. But all of those I've written are just my own ideas of what the next life is. Maybe you have your own interesting concepts about it. Though we are scared to die, we shouldn't be fully frightened 'cause I think the next life will be interesting with the ones who left ahead of us... if there is such a thing as the next life.

School is cool but due to this crazy weather, school became so cool and the streets got flooded that they just called it off. I'm not sure how long this weather will last but if it does, I can see more days suspended.

I hope this weather ends soon so we can go back to school and learn.
